Welcome to the Kitchen...

You have been welcomed into our "living" room... Now...

Welcome to our kitchen!

It's whitest kitchen I've ever seen in my life. But I love it. Please ignore all of the randomness on the counter... we actually live here!

Today we are making our FAVORITE cookies. They are so easy and simple to throw together! The batter also freezes really well. I usually freeze half of the batter because the Dodds do NOT need 20 of these bad boys lying around. They are amazing! We usually do a rich chocolate cake mix and chocolate chips. Amazing.
The recipe works with any flavor of cake mix. I've made lemon... strawberry... and even a white cake mix (it tastes like a sugar cookie) with frosting on top!

Trust me on the 9 minute baking time. Just trust me.

That's my fav. mixing bowl and spatula. I love love love my blue bowl!! TDodds loves swirled chocolate chips. I don't think I've ever used regular chocolate chips!
Before...
And after...
Enjoy!!!
Love you all!!

Bailey, this is just cruel. I will now have to go into my own kitchen and bake cookies. I cannot resist temptation!

The cookies look great. Thanks for the easy recipe!

haha! yes.. and just in case anyone else can't read it...

1/3 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cake mix (of your choice)
chocolate chips (optional)

Mix all ingredients together. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 9 minutes. Makes about 20 cookies.

Most of the time I can get 24 cookies out of it. I guess it depends how big you make your cookies!!
