O Fall... You are My Second Favorite...

I actually prefer Spring... but Fall comes in at a close second. I LOOOVE when the weather starts cooling down, and you begin to look longingly at your warmer clothes hanging in your closet. One of my BFF's Molly (fun little known fact... Molly is actually the first one ever to call me Bails!! She totally made it up! And now lots of people call me that, including TDodds... isn't that great!?) has a WAY fun blog that you really should be stalking if you aren't already, and she encouraged all of us to list out our favorite things about fall... So I will do that! I encourage you to do the same! It will be fun to see what you list... on your list... ok here goes...

- The long sleeved "favorite T" from Gap

- Cardigans and jackets

- Fall-ish flats

- The come back of flannel pajama pants (yes I wear flannel... sometimes... and yes Tyler still likes me).

- The changing leaves... I think we may have 3 or 4 trees here in town that actually change color... but I love the thought! One time we went to Williamsburg, VA in the fall, and I cried because of the beauty.

- Hot drinks from Starbucks... like of course the pumpkin spiced latte... but I'm also a way big fan of the peppermint mocha... which I know... I know is more of a "winter" drink... but maybe I'm just excited.

- Anything pumpkin flavored! I love pumpkin pie... and I have an amazing recipe for pumpkin muffins. Maybe I'll post it one of these fall days.

- The cooler weather. It has already started to cool down here! Only 93 degrees today... but this morning was bliss at about 65 degrees.

- The colors red and orange

- Being able to pull all of my more "fall" inspired recipes out, and making different soups, and using my crock pot more!

- The anticipation of Thanksgiving and Christmas... it's right around the corner!!

- Having hot coffee because I'm chilled instead of just getting my fix.

- Snuggling under warm blankets to watch a movie.
