The Weekend Update...

Friday morning Aubrey and I set out for the grocery store. I was so nervous going with her, but since I only needed to pick up a couple of things, I got over it! She loved it. I guess I can imagine... there was so much to look at! She was incredibly sleepy but just fought and fought sleep so that she could look around and smile at everyone we passed! As soon as we got into the car she gave in to the NAP! After that, we had lunch at Fuddrucker's with my friend Sarah. It was yummy, I had a great time chatting and Aubrey slept the whole time. I'm telling you... she was so sleepy! We just hung around the house the rest of the day Friday getting all sorts of random things done! Friday night, we had a quiet evening at home... TDodds and I made dinner, put Aubrey to bed, and then watched a movie! Too much excitement to handle! But those are my favorite kind of nights!

This is the sister in her favorite place Saturday morning while Mommy and Daddy were making breakfast. A big one complete with blueberry muffins!

Look at that grin!! I've been trying to capture a full blown smile... this is close!

BFF's Allison and Justin were in town this weekend from Ft. Worth so Saturday night we went to a friend's house for supper! Wings and pizza! There were also celery sticks, but after my friend Kate told me that you burn more calories eating a piece of celery then is actually in that piece of celery... I got over celery. I realize now that this might be why I don't like celery, my jaw does usually hurt when I eat it. I mean who wants to work that hard to burn crazy amounts of calories eating a piece of vegetable that tastes like water anyway? I prefer my food to be enjoyable. Maybe that appeals to some... but not this girl. I'll have another piece of pizza thank you. But back to our fun filled night... the boys sat inside and watched some sort of football game... And the girls sat outside to chat. It was a beautiful night! The weather was just perfect!
Here is Aubrey Grace and Kate's daughter Emma. Isn't she adorable with her little pig tails?
Emma was enjoying her pizza with her foot in her plate the whole time.

One half of the room... apparently an interesting story was being shared that I completely missed!
Allison, Me, Kate, and Lee Lee
I have no idea what happened to the flash. We all look like we have no eyes!

Sunday we had no responsibility at church, so we were able to sleep in a little bit and then go to the second service! We came home right after to feed Aubrey and then she got a little bit sick. Just a little bit... or maybe a lot. She had major tummy issues that exploded out all over everywhere (too graphic?). I'm sure it could have been worse... but not sure how. So in honor of the explosion, TDodds and I decided to eat Mexican food for lunch. She seemed completely happy and totally herself, so we weren't sure if Aubrey was sick sick or if it was just a one time event. Then I fed her again later that afternoon and it happened again! But since that second time, she has been fine. Hopefully we will be episode free today!

Well... today my goal was to clean the house so I better get with it! Love you all!!

Sounds like a fun weekend! Well, until the explosion! But that happens! LOL And I enjoyed seeing Lee in one of your pics! She's such a sweet girl! We grew up in the same youth group.
Eww yuck, explosions don't sound good. Oatmeal is the same as celery, you burn more digesting it than what's in it! And it won't give you a jaw ache!
