3 Months Old...

Aubrey Grace you are now officially 3 months old (even though Mommy has been telling people you are 3 months old for a couple of weeks since you are really about 14 weeks old). ANYWAY... darling thing... you are 3 months old! It has been a very fast 3 months, but a very long 3 months at that! You have been a busy girl! And you are growing more every day!

You have become quite vocal, and you make the most hilarious noises.

You have discovered your hands and every once in a while I catch you sucking on your thumb!

You have started to grab, and clutch your toys, and you think you are quite something when you do so!

You are eating about 7 ounces at meal time, and you have a bit of cereal at night before bed! I have no idea how much you weigh, but you are getting heavy and it is quite hard to cradle you in one arm.

You love to "chat" with Mommy and Daddy, and you think it's so much fun when Daddy gets on the floor with you to play!

You HATE tummy time, and it pains Mommy to put you on your tummy. After about a minute you start to cry... and when I say cry... I mean scream. So we haven't been making much progress in the lift your head while on your tummy department. But we are getting there. You have fantastic head control in every other position!

You love to be read to every night before bed. It must be very relaxing!

All that to say... We are so proud to be your parents Aubrey Grace, and we are so delighted you are here with us!! We love you like mad!

How exciting! I hope you are saving all this for her to put in her baby book...she will totally enjoy it. Autumn, now 6, loves to hear stories of when she was little and how she acted as a baby. Summer could care less...and well Aspen is just a little ahead of Aubry and I think we're about to start crawling in a month or so. I love watching her get into the crawling position and rock back and forth and then she can move her legs up...but she hasn't quite figured out the move the arms too- so she plops back on her belly. They grow up way too fast!!!! Aubrey is such a beautiful little girl. We can't wait to meet her one of these days when "life in the herd" slows down. May God continue to richly bless your sweet family! We love ya'll!

Cassie hated tummy time. The doctor told me I had to give her tummy time so that she would develope properly but guess what, she developed just fine and she didn't have that much tummy time because she would scream.
