Finally Some Time Away!

We went to DFW this past weekend. Of course. It's where some of our BFF's live! We laughed with them, and even shed a few tears with them! It was healing, and so encouraging! We really do have the best friends!

We had never been to the stockyards and thought it might be a fun and interesting place to visit. It was kind of neat. But it was so HUMID and hot outside that we were slightly miserable! But, we had a lot of fun with our friends the Clark's!

Here come the longhorns!! We really thought Aubrey would be so excited about this! The big cows walking down the street. They were huge!

After a leisurely afternoon, lots of in depth conversation, and dinner at PF Changs in downtown Ft. Worth... we had dessert at a way fun build your own yogurt bar, Menchie's.

The Clark's

The next day we did a little shopping. And we did eventually make it to The Children's Place, and had so much fun!

I love you IKEA til the end of time.

After some shopping, we headed north to the Brown's house. We ate supper with them and talked well into the wee hours of the night. What a blessing. Truly.

Trent is the pastor at Gateway Fellowship church in Royse City, TX.

We rose early Sunday morning to head to church. The service was wonderful! Then we had a big lunch at Snuffer's! I had a green chile cheeseburger and fried pickles! Delicious.

I gave Aubrey a lemon. I think she thought it was as weird as the longhorns.

Meaghan is precious, and beautiful, and I think Aubrey was just so taken with her!
