Just a little story about a Kitty Cat book

Lately we have been teaching Aubrey a few basic animals and their sounds. Like puppy dog, kitty cat, ducky, cow, bird, pig (that one is hard), and bumble bee. To our delight, she is absorbing the information like a sponge! We were at Target a few days ago, and while perusing the $1 aisle (who doesn't!?) I hear a timid "meow.... meow... meow" from my genius baby's lips. I congratulate her on correctly telling me what a kitty cat says and keep moving. Tears. Crying. I back up and look over to Aubrey's eye level and low and behold... a kitty cat book. Good thing it was the dollar aisle. After showering her with praises I decided that it would be quite a treat to have the new book and to not have to walk away from the "Kitty Friends" book with a crying baby. She's in love.

And she can read upside down. Aren't you impressed!?
