A Sickly Week at the Dodds...

Our sweet Aubrey Grace has come down with some sort of weird stomach/cold virus. She just hasn't been herself... and today she started running a low grade fever, so she is a bit fussier than normal. We went to the doctor yesterday where she told us that there is nothing you can do for a virus, except to let it run it's course. So that's what we are doing... letting it run it's course, which can be rather frustrating! I'm so thankful that it's such a rainy, chilly, cloudy day because we can just stay inside and cuddle up together and watch Clifford the Big Red Dog and Max and Ruby. Don't ask me why she seems to prefer those cartoons. It's rather odd, because the animation isn't that interesting. But they are both really sweet.

Speaking of things that Aubrey loves. Since she is getting really into her toys... I am getting excited about Christmas. Granted she'll only be 6 months old... and the majority of what we'd like for her to get would be practical things like clothes. BUT... I walked through the toy aisle at Target the other day and saw so many things that I would LOVE for her to have. The girliest... most fun things. I can't wait.

I think she would LOVE this little purse with all of the fun things play with... just look at that little tube of lip stick! And I would love for her to have this little tea set. How cute is that!? Basically I'm looking for things that she can play with for the next year or so. We are good on toys for her right now, that's for sure! Maybe we will get her something really educational as well... but I mean, that little purse has a zipper! So she'll learn something!

Well... thanks for sticking with my randomness! Maybe I can peel myself away from my blog reading and coffee drinking and cartoon watching to get something done around here! Or maybe I'll take the day off!
