It's Monday already!?

I can not believe it's been a week. It's Monday again, and I feel like it should still be Wednesday or maybe even Tuesday evening of last week. What happened?

I have been so tired. SO TIRED. I don't want to turn our blog into a personal rant about the difficulties in my life, but we are walking together right!? Just living life... walking with each other!?

Anyways, Aubrey started teething this past week, and quite literally her whole sweet and content demeanor changed overnight. I could tell that something was going on... the out of control drool and crying definitely tipped me off that teething was our culprit. So last week we spent a lot of time rocking, consoling, drying tears, and figuring out a few remedies so I wouldn't have to give her tylenol all of the time. Frozen pacifiers have become our best friend, and Hyland's tablets are a serious life saver. But I did give her tylenol a couple of times. I feel like I hardly got out of my grubby, hang around the house clothes all week! I certainly missed Tyler being home... that's for sure! I really struggled with frustration and became really stressed out... for relatively no reason.

But that week is over... and a new week has begun!

A couple of other milestones... Aubrey turned 4 months old last week... AND started rolling! It's pretty hilarious! She slowly gets to her tummy, pulls her arms in front of her, and then catapults herself to the other side. She has started getting really interested in some of her toys... especially a little stuffed horse from our sweet friend Amy. She'll roll to things that she wants, but then she has to figure out how to pick them up and play with them. The look of concentration on her face... it's serious!

I didn't take any pictures last week of my little one. Honestly I didn't even think about it. It was hard enough to get my make up on sometime before Tyler got home from work!

I miss him being home... have I said that yet today!? I think that has been my problem. We are adjusting! I will say that it is fun when he comes home... Aubrey gets so excited to see him! I can just see how fun it will be for her (and for him), when she gets a little bit older, and she can run to the door and jump in his arms and tell him all about the fun that she's had that day.

It's a rainy, cool day today, and I would love to say that we get to spend it inside playing and sipping coffee. But, I have to make a Target run for formula, AND I get to go to a little lunch Bible study with some girl friends. If I can hurry and get ready, I can be back in time to enjoy some time alone during Aubrey's afternoon nap time. I think we are going to have homemade pizza for dinner. It's easy. Mmmm and homemade pizza sauce is YUM, and so simple! I will leave you with me and TDodds original recipe...

Homemade Yummiest, Easiest, Cheapest Ever Pizza Sauce for Homemade Pizza from the Dodds...

Combine in a small saucepan...
-a little drizzle of olive oil (like 1/2 a tspn or so)
-1 small 6 oz can of tomato paste
-1 cup of water

Then add in tspn increments the following ingredients until it tastes right... (I know that is so professional... just keep tasting it until it tastes like you want it to!)
-garlic powder (we usually end up adding a tablespoon or more... we like garlic.)
-Italian Seasoning (this just depends on your taste as well)

Add 1/4 to 1/2 tspn of chili powder (just trust me... but it is optional... I guess) and salt and pepper to taste.

Bring all ingredients to a bubble and then take off of the heat. That's it... just spread on a homemade or store bought pizza dough! It's also a really good dipping sauce for garlic breadsticks!

Love you all!

Bailey...a couple of tricks that always worked for me with the teething issue...rub motrin on the sore swollen gums...also, we would get a baby wash cloth ... get it wet...put in freezer for a bit..to get really cold...then I gave it to them...they loved chewing on that rag. Just a few things i thought i would pass along...!
