What a wonderful weekend!!!!!!!!

Busy... but truly wonderful, refreshing, and so challenging!

Tyler and I led worship at the Cross Power Ministries Marriage Conference. That's a mouthful!! We feel so blessed to have been involved... honored really. We led last year as well and it was equally wonderful, but this year it quadrupled in size, so there were even more people to get to know!! We are thinking maybe we should make Mike and Stephanie (the founders of the ministry) sign a life-long contract with us just so that we can be involved every year no matter what! They might not want us... but we so believe in the ministry! Tyler and I walked away with the same feelings we did last year... "This is the CHURCH!" we exclaimed... "This is how it's supposed to be..." What kind of healing and restoration could take place if the church was so transparent with every need and struggle that they have?? Every one of us has "something." Our (meaning me and Tyler) struggles may not be the same as the attendees but we can so relate because of the struggles we have faced in our own lives... so the teachings in a sense so applied to us as a married couple. We just gobbled it up! Especially Stephanie's talk on Friday night about what hope really is... and placing our hope in God and not in our spouse, church, or someone else's story! It was just what I needed to hear this week.

Saturday night, we had college students from Pursuit (our Wednesday night service for 18-25 year olds) over for hot dogs and hamburgers. It was so fun!! Tyler and I were so wiped out from the conference that we felt like dull hosts... but it was still a great night of fellowship. And the "zoo game!" It was CRAZ-Y and wonderful to have that much laughter in our home!!

Yesterday was a relaxing and beautiful day! We enjoyed the late service at church and then came straight home for lunch. Tyler did some work in his building outside... cleaning out and caulking... and I sat outside in my p.j.'s with my tea and book and did nothing. It was heavenly. A nice break before the psychotic week ahead...

With that in mind... I should let you go and fold the laundry that is exploding out of the laundry baskets and dryer.

Oh by the way... I'm 31 weeks pregnant!! Just 9 short weeks to go and baby girl will be in my arms!!

Love you all!!
