Lot's of exciting things
so... blogging friends it is I, Tyler!
Alot has happened since I last posted!
First of all I would like to say that I have chosen not to use Ruby On Rails. I have realized that although web-design is amazing and I am very blessed to know and work at it, I don't want to spend the time to learn a new language because I do not plan on doing web-design as my main profession therefore not justifying the time spent. fwwssseeeeewwwww glad that is over....
On to more exciting things!....
So as Bailey has mentioned I have started working on my new studio! I am really really thrilled about this new space to work in. It is going to be fab! I am really excited for Bailey as she won't have to listen to loud phrases of music over and over again in the house! Not to mention we will have a newborn! The studio is going to have 2 rooms, a control room (where my computer and speakers are) and a tracking room (where my piano and amps will be). It's a small space but will do for my needs.
I am defiantly learning a lot about construction and what not! I found out last week that the electricity that was running to the building was dangerous and very bad! So I had to rip everything out as well as dig up the conduit that the cable was running through underground. I was able to get a new cable and Russ came over to help me pull it through. I prayed over the cable all morning and it went through smoothly.. thank the Lord!! A big thanks goes to Kevin and Dave for helping me with the electricity!
So now all I have to do is install the insulation, sheet rock, doors, molding, and lighting. Brad is coming down this weekend to help me install all this! I am so thankful!
If you are interested I am doing a photoblog of my progress on a forum called "GearSlutz" I know it is an awful title for a website but it really is a professional recording website! You can check the photoblog out here: Tyler's Photoblog on GearSlutz
On to even more exciting things!
Today we went to the doctor for the regular baby checkup! Everything is going amazing and we are so excited! When the doctor was checking Bailey today, baby girl's foot was protruding out of Bailey's stomach! I got to go over and feel it.. it was very crazy and amazing! I think we are really at the point where we are excited about her getting here. I know Bailey is very uncomfortable and ready for sure! So many times I have visions of holding her and so much love pouring out of my heart. Oh! that I will be a daddy known for love!
This last month has been really crazy and a little taxing on me but days like today make up for it!
