Update...
To be quite honest... I have no idea what's going on in El Salvador!
I do know that Tyler is leading worship 4 or 5 times today! Eeek! That's quite a bit, and I've been praying for stamina, rest, and that the Lord would make His name known. I was thinking and praying this morning about the language "barrier." And maybe we give these barriers too much attention. Obviously the Lord put it in place (if you go back to what happened at the Tower of Babel you know this is true), so instead of feeling discouraged by this barrier... maybe we should pray all the more, expectant for the Lord to show Himself glorious!! He created the barrier... He can work despite it. But we can not do it without Him. This creates an incredible NEED for Him. What a glorious God! We need You Lord. Show yourself glorious through what we see as a barrier. Maybe we should thank the Lord for another opportunity to see Him work!
I also know that the concert the other night went very well. The band that opened for Ty was apparently very good, which I promise was a breath of fresh air. I don't know much else, except that Tyler said the response was "great."
Things here at home have been good. Very dull. I can't wait for Tyler to be home. I miss him A LOT A LOT! This past Thursday I went to a concert at our church... Bebo Norman and Mercy Me. You know, I've never really gotten in to Bebo Norman. But I really really like him and his music! Go Bebo! Mom made me potato soup on Friday night, which quite frankly was the highlight of my weekend. It was very good. Perfect for this strange state I'm in right now. I'm thinking about going to church tonight. Not sure if I will. That means I have to get out of my p.j.'s!!
Love you all!
