El Salvador... DAY 1
Tyler has not been able to find internet in El Salvador... so I'm going to do the best I can updating the blog even though I only have limited knowledge of what is going on. Then... if Ty finds internet, he can correct me where I am wrong. The team arrived safely yesterday evening, and that's all I know about that!!! I guess that's all I need to know!
I do know for a fact that tonight is the big concert on the soccer (futbol) field. Please pray that all of the concert preparation comes together... staging, sound, lights, instruments, and so much more. The people at the church in Santa Tecla really did a great job promoting the concert to youth in the area. Please pray that the Lord would bring who He would like to be there with softened hearts to chase after the King of Kings. Also please pray for the safety of all involved. Tyler shared with me before he left that he didn't feel that a full blown "concert" was where the Lord was leading him... but he felt that the Lord was urging him to lead a more intimate time in worship tonight. Praise the Lord! Can you just hear the different languages and cultures joining together in worshipping our Father!!?? Please pray that Tyler is not overly intimidated by the language barrier, and that the Spirit of God would rush through the place so amazingly that language wouldn't matter. I think the concert starts at 6PM, and there is a local band opening for Tyler and the guys. There is no time difference, so 6PM is 6PM! I love it!
I'm not sure who... but there will be someone preaching, and maybe a couple of testimonies!! Please pray for those people... The Lord knows who they are - For freedom, and that the Word of God would dwell richly.
I'm so sorry that I don't have more details. Hopefully Tyler can post something soon.
Love you all!!
