Monday Randomness

How was your weekend!? Mine was really wonderful! Tyler was working on a project, so Aubrey and I had some good girl time. Not to mention on Friday my Mom and I got to spend the whole afternoon... by ourselves!! It was fantastic! We had lunch and did some shopping. It was heavenly.

I spent 2 1/2 hours at the store last Wednesday. Aubrey was so sweet. She played with a bag of chocolate chips and a can of mandarin oranges the whole time. We eat very healthy.

It's the mundane weeks that make me the most exhausted. Can I get an Amen from my Mommy friends. Does anyone else experience this!? I truly love these weeks... but I also really thrive on having a few things on my schedule. A few trips here and there out of the house!

Speaking of trips... we decided to go see friends in DFW for our little family trip! We thought... what's the point of going on a trip if we can't have fun and deep conversation with friends!? My only goal is to do some shopping for Aubrey at Children's Place. I've been saving my pennies and Aubrey has officially grown out of most everything she owns. That happened like last week! You should see the pant legs on her pajamas. They look like capris. I did a little shopping this past weekend for some basics, but I'm holding out. This is totally silly... and yes worldly and materialistic... but I was on the Children's Place site yesterday and was drooling. Just look at some of this...

Besides Children's Place, my only hope is to have a relaxing blast with our friends!
