Happy Thursday Friends!
It's cold out today. It's been such a warm January, I was more than a little surprised when I left the house this morning with a cold slap in the face! Despite the weather, I'm feeling much better. Still blowing my nose and recovering, but definitely not as sickly!
I'm starting to think that January is the new June. We are involved in 3 weddings this month. One that has already passed... Luker and Lee Lee's... Erin and Joe are tying the knot this weekend, and Mols and Jeremy are getting married week after next. It's incredibly exciting!!
I'm really excited about these next few months. My last day of work is February 26th... and then I'll be free! :) I will travel a bunch with Tyler, and start nesting, and preparing our home for our little one! Tyler is fairly busy this season... which we always welcome with open arms, and I'm thankful that I can go with him! I'm still going to teach voice lessons now, and after the baby is born. I just love it so much, and hopefully with a little more time (at least before the baby comes!) on my hands I can take on more students! I think Baby Dodds is having a bit a growth spurt this week. I guess we'll see next time I go to the doctor... or maybe I finally just have my appetite back. All I want to do is eat. I'm going to go to the grocery store today, and I'm taking Tyler to be my accountability!! Otherwise I might end up with some fairly hilarious food choices!
This past week I have totally finished preparing our taxes... gathering and organizing our deductions and write offs... I'm just waiting for some of our 1099's! I know this doesn't seem like a big deal, but this is MAJORLY exciting for us!! I'm in love with Turbo Tax.... It has made it so very easy to do our taxes at home. Being self-employed is scary at tax time y'all!
I'm sorry if I bored you with my randomness!!
Love y'all!
