Oh my oh my... WHAT a week...
Monday and Tuesday were filled with studio building things... and cleaning up our backyard which had turned into a bit of a war zone. I even put together some furniture! I know that in your 33rd week of pregnancy you shouldn't really be doing things like that... but it wasn't as physically exerting as it seems. As of Tuesday evening... the studio was officially FINISHED! I can't wait for y'all to see pictures! Our camera keeps taking really funny looking photos that just do not do the space justice... so we'll post as soon as we get some good looking ones! Monday night we went to the hospital where I'll be having the baby for a tour! It was really neat! They show you all around the nursery, labor and delivery rooms, and you even get to catch a glimpse of who your nurse might be. Tyler and I are already praying for a specific woman to be one of our nurses. I immediately fell in love with her.
Wednesday was T-Dodds' birthday!! We celebrated the day by sleeping in and then doing some accessory shopping for his studio space. The red accessories are so important y'all! We found some good ones too at my favorite place... Hobby Lobby! We tried really hard to just take a Sabbath day!! I think we succeeded. I think.
Thursday we spent the better part of the afternoon just cleaning and getting baby girl's room completely emptied out. Her room is all ready for the precious pink paint to be slathered on the walls Monday! Thursday evening we had the family over to celebrate Tyler's birthday. Yummy grilled burgers and chocolate cake! It was fun to have them over at our house! We had to put the leaf in the table to make it bigger which brought GREAT joy to my heart.
Yesterday, I had to do more shopping at Target... then work on the hostess gifts for my shower... which is TODAY!! SO FUN! Then I had lessons so my day was very full! Tyler and I sat down last night at like 10:45 or so to watch a movie and I made it to the menu screen before bursting into tears and completely and totally losing it. I think my husband thought I was crazy but he just let me sob my eyes out and then tucked me into bed. He realized very quickly that I was exhausted. I was trying to be so strong this week... I so want everything to be perfect and in place before baby girl gets here! I have nesting syndrome in a majorly bad way! But resting my aching and GROWING (I don't want to talk about it) body, I'm sure is more important.
But there is so much to do!! So much to do!!
Well my shower is in a couple of hours!! I'm so excited! I have a way cute dress and the weather is divine... so I'm going to go relax and take my time getting ready. Ty is out mowing the lawn, enjoying every second I'm sure!
