These two books were terribly sad... or should I say "Ever After" was so sad. The first of the pair "Even Now" is good, but you have to read them as a pair. Only read these if you need a good cry and even then it may not be a good idea. I'm not one for sad stories. My imagination is too active. Consider this a well warning. Karen Kingsbury is a fantastic writer... but just beware and keep the kleenex handy.
