Welcome Autumn!!
I LOVE FALL! AUTUMN!! Autumn is a much better word. Sounds more exciting as it rolls off the tongue. The last two days we have had no need for an air conditioner! I've been getting up and throwing the windows open. I actually got cold early this morning and had to put on my flannel p.j. pants. I haven't broken those out since last winter! Don't you just love pajama pants!? I do! It's sunny, the sky is blue, and I'm starting to see some color in the trees. The best thing about fall in Georgia... minimal humidity! YAY! I am so glad that we will get to experience another autumn before we move! That is the kindness of the Lord!
We attempted our making sushi last Friday night for the first time! It was interesting to say the least. Difficult. Stressful. It took a couple of hours... but the taste!? Great! The problem with us is that we do not have a sharp enough knife. I think you need the kind of knife that can cut through metal. The nori (seaweed) is extremely tough and the rice is STICKY! So Tyler rolled the sushi perfectly, but when it came time to cut it into little disks... disaster. As he placed the knife on the sushi, everything basically burst out the ends. Our sushi experience was less than glamorous, and I need to work on my chop sticks skills.
Tyler led worship for "Stonemill Church" in north ATL Sunday morning! He did an amazing job! I love when he leads worship... such freedom! However, I think we are still recovering. It took an hour to drive there, and so because of the need to practice, we had to get up at 5:30AM and be out of the house by 6AM. It was interesting, and yet totally worth it!
I am really into "The Biggest Loser." And so I am excited that it comes on tonight. I haven't decided yet which contestant I would like to win.
That's all for now!
