We're Here...

Well we made it... a week ago today. This week has flown by so quickly, it's hard to really remember what all we've done. A lot of unpacking... and LOTS of painting. I'm on the verge of having carpal tunal syndrome in my wrist from all of the painting. But we know that it will be worth it when we are finished. Last Monday when we arrived... exhausted from our LONG trip... my parent's COM group from church was waiting for us and had everything unloaded from our car and trailor in 30 minutes!! No exggeration. It was unbelievable... totally awesome. Then, they put together our beds, put sheets on the beds, and my new "step aunt" Jennifer unpacked our whole closet and organized it for me. Isn't the body of Christ AMAZING!!! Oh I've been praising the Lord every day for His immense blessing towards us when it comes to people here in Midland. My parents ordered "Double Dave's Pizza" for everyone and we all ate dinner together. Let me just say if you are ever in Midland and have a hankering for pizza... go to Double Dave's... it's amazing!

Everything since then is a bit of a blur... we have been so busy... seeing friends and getting our house in order. I love nesting... if you know me which most of you do then you already know that about me. I love finding the perfect place for things and having things clean and in order. Our home is very important to me... I am the wife... the heart of the home, and I take that role very seriously. IT'S SO FUN!

I start work on Wednesday... pray for me. I will try to post pictures of our new home very soon...
